Television Imaging Technical Tutorial

This tutorial is for producers and technicians working in television. It is designed to give the knowledge and tools to assess television images for quality in the digital world.

It contains the information you need to navigate the cesspool of jargon, obfuscations, marketing hype, and mysterious practices involved in the creation of good television images.

It will enable one to judge a television image, and know which imperfections are occurring at what point in the chain, from the camera through the distribution chain.

Occasional digressions are included to help understand operational manuals, manufacturer's specs, and forum rants.

If you hit "Start" and "Next" when it occurs, you will follow the information in logical sequence.

As well, links to jump to the various sections are provided, as you would expect.
